Deep Roots, Unshaken Faith To Withstand The Storm

 Rooted in Love

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love

Imagine standing at the foot of a mighty oak tree, its roots deeply embedded in the earth, providing stability and nourishment. This tree has weathered countless storms, yet it stands tall and strong. In the same way, when we allow Christ to dwell in our hearts by faith and become rooted and grounded in love, we too can stand firm amidst life's challenges. We find solace in the knowledge that we are loved unconditionally, and this love becomes the compass that guides us through the darkest nights and the brightest days.

The Indwelling Presence of Christ

Christ dwelling in your hearts is not a passive wish but an active pursuit of a deep, intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It implies a journey of faith that goes beyond rituals and religious practices. It is about you creating a space where Christ can guide, and transforming your life. This dwelling is not physical but spiritual, an operation of the Spirit of God through faith, which involves trust and belief in his word.

Growing Spiritually

Growing spiritually involves deepening your faith and allowing the word of God to permeate every aspect of your life. It is a journey a transformation, where you learn to let go of your carnal desires and align yourself with God's will through the scripture. This growth is not always easy; it requires patience, persistence, and passion. But as we grow, we find that our hearts become more attuned to the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, and our lives become a reflection of word of God.

Final Thought

In conclusion, may the love of Jesus Christ be the soil in which we are rooted, and the foundation on which you stand. As you embark on this 2026 journey, may you be transformed from the inside out and a reflection of the word of God that is in you. And when the tempests of life rages against you, may you stand firm, steadfast and unmovable, because you are rooted and grounded in the word of God.
